Our mission is to provide our resource parents and families with a professional level of care, compassion, understanding, and services which meet or exceed their greatest expectations. We commit ourselves to our resource children to support and guide them to attain and live a normal loving, balanced lifestyle in today's society.
Children’s Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation regulated by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California State Department of Social Services. The agency recruits and certifies individual resource family homes. Children’s Hope professional staff members provide in-house, licensing, monitoring, and support services to the individual foster homes.
The safety,comfort, success and happiness of our resource children is our first and foremost priority. We seek to provide youth of all ages with nurturing and supportive homes. Our resource families make it their priority to ensure these children are feeling loved and well taken care of as they experience life changing events while being away from their biological families.
Children's Hope Foster Family Agencies footprint can be found through out Northern California. Our professionally trained staff certify homes and support resource children throughout Northern California, specifically to these counties Alameda, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Glenn, Kern, Lake, Lassen, Mendocino, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Shasta, Sierra, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Tuolumne, Yolo, and Yuba.
Children's Hope Foster Family Agency provides an array of services both funded by the State and non-funded. These programs and services include but are not limited to monthly foster parent reimbursement, highly involved social workers, in-house training and continued education opportunities, transportation, and leaps and bound funding for children wanting to participate in educational programs. We offer CPR and First Aid certification courses, on-call medical staff, a 24-hour support line. We are here to help every step of the way.
