About Us:

For 20 years Children’s Hope Foster Family Agency has provided a glimmer of hope in the lives of over 6,000 foster youth across Northern California. Children’s Hope strives to provide our resource parents, foster children, and transition age youth with a professional level of care, compassion, understanding, and services which meet or exceed their greatest expectations. Our agency is committed to helping our foster children and transition age youth attain and live a normal, loving, balanced lifestyle in today’s ever-changing society.

As a state-licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Children’s Hope is regulated by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California State Department of Social Services. In 2018, our agency became nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for our public social services. Children’s Hope’s professional staff members provide in-house licensing, monitoring, and support services to individual resource homes.

Our certified resource homes and support services extend throughout Alameda County, Butte County, Colusa County, El Dorado County, Glenn County, Lake County, Mendocino County, Merced County, Nevada County, Placer County, Plumas County, Sacramento County, Santa Clara County, Shasta County, Solano County, Sutter County, Yolo County, Yuba County, and other counties where children need a temporary stable home.
