Foster Care:
Nationwide there are over 400,000 children in foster care annually. In California, there are over 55,000 children in foster care and Children’s Hope Foster Family Agency provides hope for over 300 of those foster children.
Foster care is a way of providing love and support to children that have been displaced from their home and placed into the care of Children’s Hope. Our dedicated social workers nurture foster children by providing emotional support, strengthening the bond between foster children and resource parents, and advocating for the children with counties and courts. Our resource parents go through an extensive training program that certifies them to be able to provide adequate care for foster children placed in their home. Children’s Hope supports over 160 resource homes across 20 counties and continues to certify new resource parents that are able to make a difference, one child at a time!”
